This painting series is very special to me. You see, zinnias might as well be known as my “family flower” based on how many have been grown and arranged in bouquets in my home since I was a little girl. My parents still grow rows of zinnias and I reap the rewards of their garden all summer long! Something about the combination of the zinnias’ bold colors and the imperfections in their petals and stems makes them perfect in my eyes. I hope these paintings bring joy into your homes just like the real-life zinnias do for me.
