I almost titled this painting “Feeling Blue,” but then worried that it might be misinterpreted. You see, I have been feeling BLUE because blue - every shade from teal to blue-violet and everything in between - is inspiring to me! The painting celebrates my love of all shades of blue, with a few yellow-greens tucked in here and there. If you take a close look, you’ll see the collaged papers that comprise the first layer on the canvas and add the interesting texture to the composition. This one makes my heart sing the BLUES!
