“Reverie” is defined as “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream.”
While creating this painting, I was definitely lost in my thoughts and daydreaming about the natural beauty of Playa del Carmen that inspired it. I couldn’t wait to return from my recent trip to Mexico and get to work on it! The jungle canopy, the lush foliage, the sandy beaches, and the blue-green cenotes…wonderful memories captured on canvas. Dulces suenos!
