Awarded an Honorable Mention in AcrylicWorks 13: The Best of Acrylics, to be published in September 2026
If you’re familiar with Watercolor, Florida, you probably know of the signature green and white striped beach towels at their beach club. On a particular evening, while everyone else was photographing a stunning sunset, I stood over a heap of these discarded towels, captivated by their patterns. While this painting would make a perfect addition to any beach house, I think it works well in any contemporary interior.
