I am the recipient of several quilts hand-sewn by my great-grandmother and great-aunts. They haven’t been in my life since I was a child, but the memories of time with them are still with me. This close-up view of a section of one of those quilts is perfect for any one who appreciates the time and artistry that goes into making a quilt, but it is also a reminder of family love.
