For other plant lovers, such as myself, this painting features my favorite dipladenia plant as its bloom reach for the morning sun. The large white flowers are dramatically set against an out-of-focus landscape backdrop, making them the center of attention in this painting. These “sunbathers” may not be what you expected to see in this painting, but they’re sunbathers nevertheless, right?
