“Who is this"?” and “What is he doing here?” seem to be on the minds of this bluebird pair as they come upon this miniature glass bluebird - an impostor of sorts. The glass "bluebird of happiness" is a well-known collectible in the South and I decided to inject some humor in my latest collection of paintings with this combination of real and glass bluebirds.
By the way, this pair of bluebirds actually spent some time in the garden just outside my studio this spring and I was able to capture a number of close-up photos of them with the help of my feeder that has an embedded camera. Perfect for a birdlover like me!
